In 2005, I wrote a book and included a quote by Fernando Pessoa: “Stones in my path? I keep them all. One day, I’ll build a castle.” Today, I ask myself: What if I had embraced instead — “Stones in my path? I shall have none” — could things have been different?
Because, the truth is: the Sacred Path of Beauty is my stone-built castle — the fruit of a journey filled with challenges. Especially the challenge of planting in people’s hearts the idea that they should come to see me, a physician, not because they were sick, but precisely because they were well. This has always been the essence of my Age Management approach.
Could it have been called Longevity Management instead? Not quite. Because in my specific proposal, what we manage, measure, and quantify is the damage that accelerates aging and leads to disease. Longevity is the aspiration, not the guarantee — it’s the result of our proactive efforts to live longer and better.
I often joke that my life has been a mix of roller coaster and haunted house — with its highs and lows, moments of darkness and light. In the end, it has been amazing, intense, enriching — and above all, it has helped shape what I now call my Sacred Path of Beauty.
And beauty, here, has a deeper meaning. It is vibrational beauty — the kind that enchants the soul and uplifts the spirit, that sublimates existence, that soars like an eagle recognizing its territory and saying: “Perfect. It was always meant to be this way”.,
After completing her Medical Degree in December 1991, Dr. Isabela Stoop pursued a two-year Post-Graduation Course in Nuclear Medicine in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. In 1994, she moved to Florianópolis, where she continues to live to this day. Her growing interest in Nutrition led her to participate in the 1st Annual Nutrology Course offered by the Brazilian Association of Nutrology (ABRAN) at the University of São Paulo in Ribeirão Preto (SP). She earned the title of Specialist in Nutrology in 2005.
In 2006, she published the book “A Touch Beyond” – everything that enriches, ennobles, elevates, and makes life special. That same year, she initiated her Age Management approach, inspired by the article Ageing, Science and The Cosmetics Industry by the Italian researcher Paolo Giacomoni, published in the European Molecular Biology Organization Report (2005).
From 2008 to 2012, she served as Director of Scientific Activities at ABRAN and as editor of the specialty’s official website, participating in numerous courses and events as a representative of the association.
In 2015, she began a Master’s program in Health Sciences at Unisul (Santa Catarina, Brazil), which she completed in 2017 with an article published in the prestigious journal Nutrition Research. During this phase, she deepened her commitment to health maintenance through the lens of Applied Healthspan Engineering, as developed by the Panorama Research Institute in Silicon Valley, California, USA,
From 2018 onward, Dr. Stoop expanded her studies in Nutrigenetics and Nutrigenomics, developing a personal and critical perspective on the commercial genetic testing industry, which she found to be generally focused on disease risk. Her goal was to create a project centered on health maintenance. In 2024, with the support of other visionary and purpose-driven women, she began shaping what would become the GeneFood Project.
In 2025, she launched a collaborative initiative with her daughter, Laura David — a physician and student of Trichology — in a project affectionately named Par Perfeito (“Perfect Pair”). Together, they developed HairCode, with the aim of promoting Hair Longevity Management. In this way, Dr. Isabela further deepens her commitment to the principles of Precision Medicine.
In 2023, she authored twelve articles published internationally in the BioMed Research Journal as part of the series With Love and Glory. Her most acclaimed article, however, was Therapeutics for Health Maintenance: a New Paradigm, published in 2025 in the journal Genetics & Molecular Medicine.
One of her greatest dreams is to dedicate herself professionally to the work of a researcher and writer — her true passions — allowing her creative processes to unfold in a more introspective way, “listening to the silence, letting it dictate the words to her
