The Sacred is the 3rd. Card of The Sacred Path of Beauty.
The Sacred
By Isabela Stoop
To make something sacred is to give ritual meaning to our existence.
It is to live with the intention that everything can become an offering.
It is to walk in coherence with our life’s purpose.
With time, we begin to develop this continuous awareness —
remaining attentive not to stray from our Sacred Path.
For within us, there is always a voice of inner approval.
A voice that can sense — with the deepest subtlety —
what is good,
what is right,
what is desirable,
what is expected,
what is sublime.
What is essential, eternal, intrinsic — universal truth.
To hear this voice, we must internalize sacred geometry,
which carries within it the perfection of harmony, divinity, fluidity, and the natural order of things.
When we seek sacred geometry in our daily choices —
in the way we decorate our homes, no matter how simple;
in the organization of our living spaces;
in the care for nature;
in the perception of balance around us —
then, and only then, can we extend the sacred within us
by making sacred the world outside of us.
This sacredness is beautifully expressed in the words of the Navaho Prayer:
☽ The Beauty I live with
☽ The Beauty I live by
☽ The Beauty upon which I build my life
It is the kind of beauty that builds, that ennobles, that sublimates, that makes life special.
The beauty that will allow us to reach what Seneca so eloquently described in On the Tranquility of the Soul:
the absence of inner restlessness.
What greater nobility could we ever aspire to?
